Sri Lanka August 2026

A 2 week round trip of Sri Lanka. We started off from Colombo to Sigiriya, Kimbissa, Dumbulla, Kaludewala, Dangolla, Maligawa, we saw in elephants of Pinnawala and Rambukkana, Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, passed through the waterfall of Ramboda, we met real tea pluckers, Nuwara Eliya, we took the 'Ella' train from Banderawela, a tuk tuk ride to the Nine Arch bridge, walked to see Kuda Ravana waterfall. We went on a safari trip in the Yala National Park, we were quite lucky there for we saw Deers, crocodiles and even leopards. We then continued our journey with an unsuccessfull whale watching boat trip, stopped at the Coconut Tree Hill view point for a few photos, we saw the stilt fishermen in Koggala, the looked at the turtles of Habaraduwa and finally the Galle Lighthoust the fort. from there we headed bach to Colombo to catch our flight back home. But ours travels will not stop here....
