Join me on the Honda XR650L as I explore Utah’s historic Tintic Mining District, searching for abandoned mines, ghost towns, and remnants of an incredible mining history. On this adventure, I ride old mining roads, explore forgotten structures, and visit the Copper Leaf Mine, where the shaft reaches an incredible 1,245 feet underground with thousands of feet of additional workings. I originally planned to visit several more historic sites around Eureka, but there was way more to explore than I expected. That means I’ll have to come back for Part 2!
