Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Koppal’s Gavi Math inaugurated the 414th Mysuru Dasara festival

Watch the inspiring and profound inaugural address by His Holiness Sri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Koppal’s Gavi Math at the 414th Mysuru Dasara festival. Speaking from the sacred Chamundi Hills after offering floral tributes to Goddess Chamundeshwari, the Swamiji delivered a moving speech on culture, humanity, and environmental responsibility. Key Takeaways from the Speech: From Kings to Citizens: How Dasara evolved from a royal festival (Doreya Habba) into a massive celebration of the people (Janotsava). Cultural Harmony: A beautiful reminder of Karnataka’s inclusive heritage, drawing from the wisdom of ancient poets like Pampa and Kuvempu. The "Vruksha Deepa" Call: His powerful message urging everyone to plant trees of life rather than just focusing on lighting lamps (ಲಕ್ಷ ದೀಪಕ್ಕಿಂತ ವೃಕ್ಷದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚಿ). True Dharma: A call to actions that bring light, wisdom, and compassion to our fellow humans, transforming our earth into heaven. ✨ Subscribe for more updates . . . . . #mysurudasara #MysuruDasara2026 #GavisiddeshwaraSwamiji #DasaraInauguration #MysuruDasara #KoppalGaviMath #KarnatakaCulture #DasaraSpeech #ka26_hunter350 #amarnathtelsang
