The weather was absolutely beautiful, and autumn is undoubtedly the most beautiful season in Northeast China. Beyond the scenery, this visit was also a chance to slow down and relieve some stress. For the first time in a long while, I found myself listening to birdsong and enjoying nothing but the sound of silence.
