🎃 Disneyland Walkthrough & Halloween 2026 POV Lightning Lane Rise of the Resistance, Smuggler's Run

We start our day outside the Disneyland gates, and we absolutely love all the character pumpkins decorating the entrance. They look so awesome and really put us in the Halloween spirit! Next, we stop to admire the Mickey floral on the backside of the Disneyland Train Station before heading onto Main Street, U.S.A., where all the fun fall and Halloween decorations are out. Passing a horse-drawn trolley, we make our way toward the Walt and Mickey statue, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Fantasyland. The Mary Poppins Pearly Band is performing for guests near Peter Pan’s Flight. We pass King Arthur Carrousel and the Red Rose Taverne before making our way to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Today, we’re riding both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – A New Adventure and Rise of the Resistance! The standby wait for Rise of the Resistance is 70 minutes, so we decide to purchase a Lightning Lane for the ride. But first, we’re going to help The Mandalorian and Grogu, who need our help tracking down a smuggler. We’re part of the crew sent to capture them! It’s so much fun climbing aboard the Millennium Falcon and taking off on this exciting space adventure. There’s nothing quite like getting to experience the legendary Millennium Falcon from inside the cockpit! Next, we take a little walk through Docking Bay 7 and the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace before finally arriving at the entrance to Rise of the Resistance. The standby wait is still 70 minutes. Thank goodness we have Lightning Lane! We walk through the queue and practically walk right onto the ride. Rise of the Resistance is one of our all-time favorite Disneyland attractions, especially because we’re such big Star Wars fans. It’s nonstop fun, excitement, and adventure from beginning to end! Next, we head into Bayou Country. Crossing the bridge near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we can see the boats making their way through the attraction after plunging down the waterfall. We continue along the Rivers of America Lucky us — the Mark Twain Riverboat is docked next to Harbour Galley, home of some of the best chocolate chip cookies in the park! And this time of year, they have pumpkin cookies shaped like pumpkins and served with an optional whipped cream cheese dip. They look absolutely delicious! Next, we head into New Orleans Square, passing the Haunted Mansion Holiday. Walking along the Rivers of America, we spot the Sailing Ship Columbia docked over in Frontierland. Before heading back toward Fantasyland, we pass Encanto’s Día de los Muertos, The Golden Horseshoe, and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Making our way through Fantasyland, we pass the Storybook Land Canal Boats and “it’s a small world” before heading into Toontown. In Toontown, we pass Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Coming out of Toontown, we pass the Mad Tea Party and Alice in Wonderland as we make our way toward Tomorrowland. We pass Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at the lagoon before continuing through Tomorrowland, where we see Star Tours and Astro Orbitor. Crossing Central Plaza, we pass the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café before heading into Adventureland. Here, we pass the Jungle Cruise and the temporarily closed Indiana Jones Adventure. We even spot Captain Jack Sparrow in New Orleans Square! Making our way back through Adventureland, we eventually find ourselves back on Main Street, U.S.A. It has been another great day at Disneyland, filled with Halloween decorations, favorite attractions, Star Wars adventures, and so many fun things to see along the way. We say our goodbyes at the giant Mickey pumpkin and head toward the exit. See ya next time!
