My first time hearing ONE OK ROCK, and I genuinely had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. Within seconds, I was getting hit with that mid-2000s pop punk and emo energy that immediately took me back about 20 years. The sound, the production, the atmosphere, the crowd, all of it felt huge. And THAT crowd response. You do not fill a stadium and get that kind of reaction unless you are doing something very, very right. This was an insane surprise for me. I went into “We Are” knowing basically nothing, and came out wanting a whole lot more. Now I need you guys to educate me. Who are ONE OK ROCK? How long have they been doing this?
