Backpack trip to lake in Central Oregon 2026

After working a night shift I headed to the mountains to check out a lake in Central Oregon. I packed up my backpack and headed out. Luckily I stopped by a buddies house on the way and he reminded me I was going to need waders. After a quick detour and a 3 hour drive I was making the 4+ mile hike into this hidden lake. I had a pretty good afternoon of catching some wild rainbows. After a few hours I called it a day and crashed out for the night. I had the lake all to myself. I packed up in the morning and hiked back out. Hope you enjoy the video! #backpackingfishing #oregonfishing #rainbowtroutfishing
