Kachalin, Fed, Vietinghoff – Nine Eleven

On September 11, this trio performed together for the first time. Two years ago, Eugene found himself locked down in Thailand, where he went on to become one of the best-known cellists on the local scene. Despite all the praise, he was happy to return to dear Moscow. Unfortunately, the war forced him to leave again almost immediately. After busking his way around Europe, he eventually came to Tbilisi, where he had been long awaited — especially by us. Trumpeter Stepan Kachalin is another musician whose arrival was prompted by the war, in his case from Saint Petersburg. Before coming to Tbilisi, he spent time in Istanbul, performing with fellow musicians from Siberia and Turkey.
