Which Son Did The Father's Will? I Bible Study for 26th Sunday I Sep 27, 2026

“I will not” – and then he went. This Sunday, September 27, 2026 Jesus tells the shortest parable in Matthew: two sons, one father, one simple order to work in the vineyard. The first son refuses and later changes his mind; the second says “Yes, sir” and never shows up. 🤔 Jesus asks the religious leaders which one did the father’s will, and they answer correctly – without noticing they have just described themselves. Ezekiel hears the people say “the LORD’s way is not fair” and answers that a person who turns from wickedness “shall surely live” – the vineyard is where that turning happens. 🙏 Sit this week with the question underneath it all: where have I said yes to God with my lips and not yet with my feet? Come to Mass already carrying the Word, and your heart becomes good soil – the readings speak more deeply, the homily bears more fruit, and grace finds you ready. Read prayerfully, change your mind where you need to, and let the Word bear fruit all week long. 🌱 This livestream includes the recording of Liturgical Bible Study conducted to prepare for the Sep. 27, 2026 Sunday Mass..
