Today's run started as an ambitious plan to run Ben Alder and 5 other Munros in the area. However, bad weather and sheer distance meant I bailed after the 4 Munros on the ridge to the north of Ben Alder. I still ran 50k in a beautiful, remote area of the highlands. Distance: 31.16 miles Elevation gain: 5522 ft The sixth episode of the Running the Munros series, where I continue with my lifelong quest to summit all 282 Munros in Scotland (Mountains higher than 3000ft above sea level). Start Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dVfj3WfznmXrn... Download the gpx files for the route here: gpx for the full round of 6: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GBrG... PLEASE NOTE: I haven't run the section over Ben Alder and Ben Bheòil, so it may not be the perfect line. Take extra care on this section if you choose to use this file. gpx for the ridge of 4 I ended up doing: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZYlx...
