Three hours of synthesised ambience, rendered from oscillators and filtered noise — no field recordings, no instruments, nothing sampled. This one inverts the usual balance on this channel. Instead of a thick noise bed with a tone hidden underneath it, the tone is in front: a Bb3 drone at 233.08Hz sits above a much quieter Bb2 at 116.54Hz, an octave below. Behind them, a white noise bed rolled off at 620Hz sits back in the mix at a lower level than usual, so it reads as a soft grey hush rather than the main event. A thin high veil of noise, bandpassed between 500Hz and 1400Hz and kept very quiet, drifts slightly right and gives the stereo image a little air without brightening the whole mix. The stage is deliberately narrow — everything is placed close to centre, so the track feels near and contained rather than wide. Each layer swells on its own slow cycle (500s, 275s, 640s, 410s). Because those periods don't divide into one another, the combined shape never repeats across the full three hours; the octave rises and recedes against the hush in a pattern that keeps moving. No binaural content, so speakers are fine. Mastered quiet at roughly -16 LUFS, with a 12 second fade in and a 30 second fade out. Nothing percussive, no transients, no sudden level changes.
