*New update from summer 2024. This siren was reinstalled and returned to service. Recorded on April 8th, 2023. This is a video of SouthCarolinaSirens' Thunderbolt 1003 sounding growl (x2) and undulating hi-lo for weekly test. This siren is tested every Saturday at 12:00 PM, not weather permitting, unless his county siren system decides to cancel for a reason. Finally I went to record his siren for the weekly test. This siren is active and is used for tornado warnings. The hi-lo is used for tests. The alert signal is for tornado warnings. He may run attack mode for confirmed tornado around his area, his county, or PDS tornado warning for his county. This siren is located in Newberry County, SC. Siren: Thunderbolt Model: 1003B Blower: 4M Series A2 Chopper Level 5 Recorded by a Panasonic HC-V180K
