Full piano transcription of Bill Evans performing “Nardis”, with Eddie Gómez on bass and Marty Morell on drums, recorded at Ilkka Kuusisto’s home in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, Finland, in October 1969. An intimate living-room performance, filmed by Finnish broadcaster Yle for “Jazzia olohuoneessa” (Jazz in the Living Room). First broadcast in October 1970, this session is often labelled “Helsinki 1970”. This video features my complete piano transcription with synchronized sheet music and a MIDI keyboard visualiser.
