PASTOR E A ADEBOYE SERMON _The Overcomers

RCCG The Overcomers Convention 2025 (Day 5) Plenary session 6 (Joly Ghost Night) Topic:- The Overcomers Text:- 1 John 4:4 Father!, anything good in me that the devil wants to kill, please bring it to life. Life is war (Eph 6:12). The beautiful thing is that you can be an overcomer. (John 16:33) In the world you may have tribulations, but Jesus Christ said he has overcome the world. God said in His word that you are an overcomer because greater is HE that is in you than he that in the world (1 John 4:4). Anytime you are facing a war you can't overcome, get an Ally (Roman 8:31) We are overcomer because God is on our side. (Roman 8:37) we are more than conqueror through Jesus that loves us. Because of your ally Jesus Christ, if the devil try to attack; Law of substitution (Prov 11:8, Dan 6). If you are thrown into fire, God will substitute you with the evil one inside the fire (Dan 3). There are cases when the one against you, is one that you can't imagine, God will send a word (2 Kings 5:1-14). You will be an overcomer, because there is something called generational blessings. (Gal 3:29) If you are a seed of Abraham, then the blessing of Abraham is yours. Abraham The moment the devil heard that God had blessed Abraham and be a father of many nations, the devil struck him with barrenness. (Gen 21:1-7) But Abraham overcame. Because he overcame and you are one of his seeds you will overcome. Barrenness means fruitless effort. The devil attack Isaac with barrenness, Isaac overcame (Gen 25:31). The devil attacked Jacob with barrenness, Jacob overcame. He attacked Joseph on all sides and he overcame (Gen 41:1-44). Out of Jacob came someone called Judas who became the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rev 5:5) As long as Jesus lives you will overcome. Physically you are an overcomer because Jesus Christ paid a heavy price for your healing (1 Peter 2:24). Father!, in the mighty name of Jesus, don't let the suffering of Jesus be in vain over me. Materially you are an overcomer because Jesus Christ paid for your prosperity (2 Corin 8:9). Father!, in the mighty name of Jesus, I refuse to be in proverty. Spiritually you are an overcomer (Eph 1:18-23). All evil are under your feet. Career wise, you are an overcomer (John 12:32). As Jesus Christ is drawing you up, you will keep going upwards because His hands are everlasting hand. You are planned to be an overcomer. You will be an overcomer. But there certain things you must do; Love God. (Rom 8:37) We are more than conquerors, through Jesus Christ that loves us. (Prov 8:17) God loved them that love HIM Submit totally to God (James 4:7). Once the devil knows that you are submissive to God, he will flew from you. Abide in God (Psalms 91:1-8). To abide in the Lord God Almighty, you must dwell in His secret place. Don't be a Sunday Sunday Christian. Don't trail away from God (Psalms 33:6). Hearken and obey God totally. Once you hearken and obey God totally, you will never need to fight any more (Deut 28:1-13). Life is war, and war is made of many battles. But God is saying you will not need to fight any battle. Believe in God completely (1 John 5:4). Our faith is that which overcame the world. No reason for God to lie, once HE speaks it is done. (Mark 11:22-23) If you trust God you can move every mountain. Learn to praise and worship God (Psalms 18:1-3). (John 4:23-24) God wants us to worship HIM in spirit and truth, because HE is seeking such kind of people. When you praise God, HE will arise, and all the enemies will scatter. Occasionally when it is difficult for you to pray, praise HIM. (Mark 5:2-20) The mad couldn't pray, but he fell before Jesus Christ and worshipped HIM. Jesus Christ took the fight and drave from the mad man the legion of demons. You must testify (Rev 12:10-11). We overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. If you don't testify, the devil will come and steal your miracle. But after you have testified if the devil comes to steal your miracle, you will tell him clearly that you have testified therefore he can't steal your miracle. You must overcome by making it to heaven. The ultimate overcomer is the one who made it to heaven. It is only in heaven we will have our ultimate enjoyment. You are not an ultimate overcomer unless you missed hell.
