He does everything Akekuri does, but slightly better. More Link procs, free Heat infliction, more staggers, more damage and better SP consistency (Easier combo trigger and spread out over your rotations) The downsides however, is that you might need some investments in Camille to beat out Thermite Akekuri, which is a very competitive F2P support by herself. There aren't really good support alternatives for Camille's weapon other than his signature. In shorter speedruns like Rhodagn, Akekuri also provides a bigger burst of SP regeneration than Camille, so there are some situations where Akekuri will still be favoured instead. In multi-wave content like Contingency Contract, his skill could also carry into the next wave if the enemy spawns in time.
