A Windy Day Railfanning the BNSF and Iowa Interstate Chillicothe and Edelstein, IL 03/26/22

The day began in Chillicothe, IL which is the namesake of the BNSF Chillicothe sub and I saw quite a bit including Q-NWHLAC which had a pair of CSX GEs leading. I got a heads up that a Iowa Interstate PESI was coming from Peoria with a decent sized train. Since the Iowa Interstate Peoria branch is close by, I had plenty of time to get in position. The train was led by IAIS 518 and 506 and had mostly empties though it had several steel loads among others. I then headed slightly West to Edelstein, IL which is on top of a hill that Westbound trains must climb on the BNSF Chillicothe sub. It started out slow but quickly picked up with a train every few minutes at one point. A pair of long combo stack trains appeared (Two separate trains combined at Logistics Park Chicago and will eventually split again around Kansas City) as well as UP Z-CIG4 led by a SD70ACe and a friendly crew. It was quite windy so I apologize for the shakiness. I will try to include the actual times on some of these videos from now on.
