The tranquil doctrines of the Lord lead the way to a righteous life. Before finding the truth, Brother Rey Cadorna lived a life consumed by vices and earthly pleasures. His turning point came unexpectedly one day when his radio accidentally tuned into Brother Eli Soriano’s preaching on the AM station 558. Brother Eli’s words struck him deeply: “When it comes to religion, we are talking about souls!” Moved by this encounter, Brother Rey visited a nearby MCGI Coordinating Center. His hunger for the Word grew so strong that he would often find any excuse. to leave the house just to attend Church gatherings. However, his journey was met with a heavy trial. The day after his baptism, his wife was so furious that she told him to leave and never come back. Despite the heartbreak, Brother Rey remained steadfast in his newfound faith. Over time, the visible change in his character began to transform the way his family and friends treated him. Eventually, through his persistence and clear change of heart, he was able to encourage his beloved wife to listen to and embrace the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ.
