Eickholt & Kluver Preview Iowa at Michigan | WUW 717

This week the Power Hour DOUBLES as the Preview- Tyler Kluver and David Eickholt join forces to break down, predict, and project on the game and the season to this point. They preview Iowa at Michigan, calling it a low-total, coaching-driven matchup with Iowa a 5.5-point underdog and emphasizing that if Iowa wins, a 10–2 or even 11–1 season and playoff conversation become possible. They assess Michigan’s strong defense but underwhelming offensive production, debate fan perceptions based on past Iowa struggles, and stress Iowa must limit penalties, win field position, and force at least one turnover. They highlight key matchups (including Lee vs Buchanan and Iowa’s right tackle), the importance of playmakers like Tony Diaz and DJV, Tim Lester’s playcalling, and the pressure of road environments on Hank Brown and punter Boston Everitt. Both give score predictions to finish the episode. If you love the show and want to show support, tell your friends!
