In 1967, the South African singer Miriam Makeba made this song famous. Pata Pata is a dance. People in Johannesburg used to dance it, while patting each other. (Hence the name....). I remembered this song from my youth, and I must say that I had much fun performing it. One more song from my "Covid Days" series.. I play Piano, Synth Bass and I Programmed the percussion. We need all the help we can get to cheer ourselves up!!!
