AFRIC SIMONE – Hafanana (Summer Drive Mix) | Nove Rue Cover

Hafanana! A playful classic meets a fresh Summer Drive groove. This Nove Rue cover brings together funky bass, wah-wah guitar, congas and lively call-and-response vocals with airy electronic melodies and a flowing 124 BPM dance beat. The arrangement moves from vintage Afro-disco warmth into spacious synth-and-guitar passages, keeping rhythm, melody and the song’s joyful character at its heart. The gouache and screenprint-inspired visuals draw on the original release era’s light blue, golden yellow and rust-orange palette. 🎧 Best enjoyed with headphones.
