Coves and Shorelines of St Marys Lake

Tuesday Paddle: Shorelines and Coves of St Mary’s Lake I had no idea where I was going to paddle, but to be sure that I did go for a paddle, I loaded my board as soon as I got out of bed. I guess I needed the isolation of St Mary’s Lake, as that is where I ended up. This is the time of year that the shorelines and coves are alive with natural plants and elements. It is also the time of year that I end up with a lot of camera captures. I see the little floating flowers each year, so I decided to research them this time. They are called: “Little Floating-heart”: A native North American plant. Its leaves are usually variegated with purple underneath, making it look incredibly picturesque in quiet coves.
