Paradise...for many a faded collage in one's head with a hint of turquoise water, question mark shaped palm trees bent in the Caribbean wind, maybe one tall Piña Colada billed to the room? What I found was another paradise. Where news is still objective, food is still substantive, and smiles supersede all that disconnects us. A paradise along a snaking murky river loaded with caymans and tradition. Somewhere hidden deep in the nationstate of Panama. Somewhere where the Emberá go.
