I know I promised you guys a full version of “The Fate of Ophelia” (Edward + Bella) but… clearly I got distracted. 😭 Over the holidays, I fell in love with both the Red, White & Royal Blue movie and the book — and yep… Alex + Henry are officially my new favorite fictional couple. This edit is Alex’s POV, because he sees what everyone else misses: Henry can stand in a room full of people, look perfect, do the whole “prince” thing… and still be completely alone the second the lights go off. He’s carrying a life that isn’t really his, holding his breath, hiding pieces of himself just to survive. And Alex is basically like: I’m not going anywhere. That’s why I picked “Homeless Heart” (the original by Amanda Stott). This song has always been one of my favorite underrated songs, and it drives me nuts that barely anyone knows it — because it’s perfect for them. It’s that specific kind of loneliness that doesn’t get fixed by titles, crowds, or “being fine”… and how one person can become your shelter when everything turns to chaos. In this video, Alex is basically saying: I know you’re scared. I know you’re drowning. I know you’re trying to be who you’re “supposed” to be. But when it all falls apart, I’ll be your home — your home for that “homeless heart.” And yes — I’m uploading this on Valentine’s Day just to celebrate my new favorite couple. Because if I’m obsessed with anyone right now, it’s them. ❤️ #RedWhiteAndRoyalBlue #RWRB #AlexAndHenry #FirstPrince #AlexClaremontDiaz #PrinceHenry #HenryHanoverStuartFox #TaylorZakharPerez #NicholasGalitzine #PrimeVideo #QueerRomance #LGBTQ #LGBTQIA #GayRomance #ComingOut #LoveStory #RomCom #EnemiesToLovers #FoundFamily #FanEdit #VideoEdit #MovieEdit #ValentinesDay #HomelessHeart #AmandaStott #UnderratedSong EDITOR @MissSamCraig SONG "Homeless Heart" by Amanda Stott FOOTAGE Red, White & Royal Blue (Amazon Studios/Berlanti Productions) based on the book written by Casey McQuiston DISCLAIMER I own nothing.
