This is the third version of The Beast to correct spelling errors in the credits of the first two. As of Oct. 3, 2026, the Beast has more than 1,600 views from the first two. The Beast was inspired by The Beast of Hollow Mountain, a 1957 movie starring Guy Madison. It was filmed in under eight hours in Cottonwood for under $1,000 using a camcorder. There was no extra sound, no lighting. Cowboy reenactors were paid a hot dog lunch.
