The Death of Modern Tag Fighters

After the reign of 'Dragon Ball FighterZ' had reached its natural conclusion, there existed a tag-fighter shaped hole in the fighting game market that many companies were dying to fill. '2XKO', 'Invincible VS', and 'Hunter X Hunter: Nen Impact' were all aiming to bring this beloved FGC sub-genre back into the mainstream, but something unexpected happened... They all flopped. Ok, it was almost guaranteed to see Invincible and Nen Impact being nothing more than niche games with limited appeal, but 2XKO? That game was hyped to the moon and back for many years! What the heck happened? Well, that's what we're here to find out, so strap in and get ready to go on a journey involving colourful characters, oppressive mix-ups, and a whole lot of statistics! PS: This video is NOT about Marvel Tokon. It's simply too early to tell how that game is performing, and out of the four, I anticipate that it will be the most popular by a wide margin.
