Dream FM Playlist:    • 💫 Dream FM Leeds | House, Hardcore, Jungle...   Jason 'Shock' Taylor is a Leeds based DJ since 1984, began playing hip hop and electro, moved on to the rave scene in 1990 and through the hardcore, jungle, drum and bass eras to present day. He held the prime-time Saturday evening Jungle/DnB radio show on Leeds based Dream FM from 1992 until 1996. https://www.mixcloud.com/shockdj   / shockdj   Dream FM was a 1990s pirate radio station based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, that played a diverse range of dance music and was renowned for its professional style. It first broadcast on 104.9 FM in October 1992, changing to a simulcast on 99.9 FM then settling on FM 99.9 until early 1994 when it moved to 107.8 FM and could be received throughout Yorkshire. Dream FM also featured on Edit V, a program broadcast by Yorkshire TV in 1994 about pirate radio. In 1995 Dream started a campaign to go legal called ‘A Licence To Dream’. Adverts were played on air and listeners were asked to write in with letters of support so that Dream could use the letters as a petition. In November 1995 the last transmissions were heard from Dream, however 6 months later there was still no sign of Dream FM. In 1997 a licence was awarded to Kiss 105 to broadcast across Yorkshire. Kiss later changed its name to Galaxy and more recently changed its name once again, this time to Capital FM.
