How do engineers build giant wind turbines at sea—and what happens when a steel foundation meets the seabed? We follow the offshore installation chain from enormous monopiles at the quayside to jack-up and floating crane vessels, precision lifting, pile-driving hammers, giant turbine components and the subsea cables that make everything work. The breakthrough: at Ecowende's Hollandse Kust West (Site VI), a six-foundation demonstration compared three vibration-plus-impact installations with three Vibrojet installations using vibration and controlled water jets inside the pile. The latter three reached installation depth without a final impact-hammer phase. This is a limited field trial, NOT a claim that every foundation at the wind farm was installed without hammering. This episode includes footage from multiple real offshore projects (including He Dreiht and Inch Cape), alongside clearly labelled explanatory schematics and CGI. Illustrative underwater water-jet sequences are not real footage of the seabed trial.
