From Glory to Shame (Sermon)

Hosea 4:1-19 · Pastor Scott Hunt Evening Worship · Sunday, October 4th, 2026 Rejecting God results in death. Since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10), rejecting God leads to foolishness. The fool is the one who claims, “There is no God” (Ps. 14:1; 53:1). Hosea’s message is directed to Israel, not the world, because they have turned away from their God. From their leaders to their daughters, they have forsaken God’s law and worship. Instead of reflecting God’s glory, they are marked by shame. 0:00 Scripture Reading 3:41 Sermon Introduction 6:32 Sermon 40:40 Closing Prayer Christ the King Presbyterian Church A Congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America Lord's Day Worship Services: 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM For more information about Christ the King Presbyterian Church, visit: https://www.ctkorl.com
