I charged my Vega V2 from @ImperialWorkshop with the wrong power source and completely fried the core. So I spent $100 of my own money on a replacement core and installed it myself.
Here's the honest truth: what's actually in the box, whether the new core fits, the screw nightmare, the wobble, and a first power-on that went absolutely nowhere.
💰 THE MATH (Was it worth it?)
• I Paid: ~$100 (replacement core)
• A brand-new Vega runs about $170
• Saved: ~$70 and kept my hilt
Stop guessing and start knowing whether fixing your saber beats replacing it.
