Australian Prefab Quality Control | Concealed Works Inspection Before Wall Closing

In this video, I take you through a concealed works inspection for an Australian prefab housing project. Before wall finishes are installed, we inspect all critical concealed items, including: Socket and switch locations Hot and cold water outlets Door and window opening dimensions Overall wall dimensions Top, bottom, and diagonal measurements Structural backing OSB nail size and spacing Concealed electrical and plumbing services Switches, sockets, and concealed electrical points are subject to 100% inspection. If any position is incorrect, it is identified and adjusted before the next construction stage. We also generate inspection records and keep photos and documentation on file. This means clients can later review the manufacturing process and verify that materials, installation, fixing, and dimensions were checked against project requirements. For Australian projects, this level of process control is essential. Quality should not depend only on the final appearance — the hidden work must also be measurable and traceable.
