The Evolution of Movement in Video Games

For several reasons which all came to the forefront of my mind in quick succession, I decided to make a relatively short video chronicling the history of movement mechanics in video games. I covered an extremely small percentage of concepts and ideas in this video, in part because I'm not sure whether this is a topic which appeals to people.
