RCA VR295 Linear Stereo VCR Repair - time to FINALLY get this thing playing again

Back in December, I showed you the first VCR my parents ever bought for the family. I was able to get it to play momentarily at that time, but it would not stay playing due to a bad idler tire. Today, I have a replacement for that idler tire and am not stopping until this VCR does all of the VCR things. We're also going to fix the broken tape door.
