Chin Mee Chin Confectionery, the legendary old-school bakery and cafe known for its kaya toast and luncheon meat buns, is officially opening at NEX Serangoon on 8 August 2026. It is the homegrown brand’s first outlet outside of its iconic East Coast Road location. Chin Mee Chin has been around since 1925. They announced the closure of their Katong flagship store in 2018, before reopening three years later with a refurbished space.
