Documentary | Sai Thiruveedi Amman Navagraha temple Tirumangalam #srisathyasai #chennai I made this 3 min SHORT DOCUMENTARY on a lesser known Sri Sathya Sai Temple located in Chennai. Swami visited this temple 3 times. First visit : Jan 1984. At this point the temple barely had any structure, it only had a thatched roof and the deity of the Goddess and of Swami (Sathya Sai) as their Grama Deva , village deity. His statue was only till the bust level. When the SSSSO informed Him that they have adopted the Thirumangalam village, He told them in 1983 that He will come there next year. Right in January 1984, Swami visited this village and He gave a cheque of Rs.1 lakh for the construction of this temple. He said He will Himself come and do the Prana Pratishtha. He laid the foundation stone and left. Second visit: 21 Jan 1985. When the construction of the temple was over, Swami came and consecrated the Mother Goddess. He materialised a yantra 1"x1" in size and it grew right away to fit perfectly in the pit where it had to be placed. Then He materialized Nava Ratna , 9 gems and let them fall over the yantra. Then the diety of the Mother Goddess was placed, and an altar for Swami too. Then the villagers started using the temple premises for regular weekly bhajans and also to start a little tuition school. The children who studied there grew up to be successful and well settled, the village ladies say. Third visit: 7th Feb 1990 Swami came and consecrated the unique Navagraha. He touched and blessed each of the 9 idols. The Shivacharya from the Kapaleeshwara temple came to help in the rituals. After 16 years, in 2006 Swami revealed to the students one day in Prasanthi Nilayam, that He had interchanged the position of Rahu and Ketu in this temple and that if anyone had Rahu dosha, they should go around this Navagraha 3 times and their Rahu Dosha will be gone. One of the students who heard this from Swami, immediately called up the temple and informed the priest. The priests had absolutely no idea about this interchange until they were told. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Temple Name: Sai Thiruveedi Amman Navagraha Kovil Location: Thirumangalam, Anna Nagar, Chennai Exact address: Arulmighu Sai Thiruveedi Amman Temple (which serves as the Thirumangalam Samithi for the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation): Old Thirumangalam Village,Junction of 13th and 14th Main Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai - 600040
