Born Reshma Patel, she had just played opposite Rajesh Khanna, the first superstar of Hindi cinema, in Wafa: A Deadly Love Story, and she had signed a three-film deal with director Rakesh Sawant. Her mother Shelina, who had raised four children in Mumbai and always dreamed of a glamorous life, was finally living it through her daughter. Then in February 2011, after a late-night party at the family's secluded farmhouse in Igatpuri, Nashik, Laila, her mother, her siblings Azmina, Imran and Zara, and their cousin Reshma all disappeared. Phones went unreachable. Shooting dates were missed. Two missing complaints were filed in Mumbai, one of them by Shelina's first husband, Nadir Patel. The family's white Scorpio turned up abandoned in Jammu & Kashmir, and still nobody could say where six people had gone. The answer came from the most unexpected place. During the investigation into the September 2011 Delhi High Court blast, Jammu & Kashmir police began tracking a black Mitsubishi in Kishtwar. The man driving it was Parvez Tak, Shelina's third husband and the last person seen with the family. In this episode we go through Shelina's three marriages, the ₹3 lakh promise that turned Parvez's acting dream into resentment, the watchman he quietly got hired months earlier, the "swimming pool" pit dug at the farmhouse, and the confession that finally took police back to Igatpuri, 17 months later. Thirteen years after that night, in May 2024, a Mumbai court called it a rarest of rare case and sentenced Parvez Tak to death. His alleged accomplice, Shakir Hussain, has never been caught. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 Intro 04:23 Laila, Shelina & the Man From Kashmir 23:31 The Missing Complaint & the Search 29:52 The Truth Comes Out 📲 SOCIALS 📸 Instagram →   / shrinkhal22   🐦 Twitter →   / srpay_   🎙️ Spotify → https://open.spotify.com/show/1LUSjgA... 📘 Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 💬 WhatsApp → https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029ValC... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎬 MY GEAR 🛒 All Gear (Amazon) → https://amzn.to/4qz3ycA 🎤 Mic — Shure SM7B → https://amzn.to/3XFhFOS 📷 Camera — Sony ZVE-10 → https://amzn.to/3kuCXAs 🖥️ PC Setup: ⚡ Processor → https://amzn.to/3wbRd3E 🎮 Graphics Card → https://amzn.to/3XFi2Jg 🖱️ Mouse → https://amzn.to/3wdmCT5 🎧 Headphones → https://amzn.to/3HewsKY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📩 Business Enquiries: prmshrinkhal@gmail.com #LailaKhan #TrueCrimeHindi #SRPAY #LailaKhanCase #IgatpuriCase #TrueCrime
