A Walk in the Park

On a beautiful spring day in one of London's best parks, almost nobody was looking up. In Episode 12, I describe a walk through Primrose Hill — magnificent views, sweeping lawns, a skyline worth admiring — and almost everyone I passed was staring at their phone instead. Then I spotted one man on a bench, reading a book, glancing up now and then to actually take in his surroundings. He turned out to be a congregant of mine, observing the Jewish Sabbath's break from technology. It made me wonder: do we need a Sabbath, a Sunday, or a Friday to reclaim that?
