An issue with a chain guide

So as the loyal followers of this channel will know we stripped down a S62 engine so that it would be rebuilt, whilst starting to look for the parts, gaskets, o-rings and other parts you need to replace when re-building an engine, I discovered that one of the chain guides was NLA from BMW and although it looks to of been in stock, out of stock for a while, the current news is its not getting back in stock, and been marked NLA, so whilst looking for a solution on various forums (which went through the M60/M62 chain guide plastic re-use) I noticed that Partee Racing was starting to fabricate a replacement part. So I managed to get on the waiting list for when they were ready and with my hard earned cash brought a new plastic guide piece that will replace the factory guide, we have to re-use the existing backing for the guide. I have not fitted the new guide to the old backing in this video as there is a o ring under the guide that I would like to replace as the existing one is 'hard as nails' or now no longer rubber in touch. The engine block is still on its holiday in the UK getting processed, hopefully that will be back within the next month. I was not given these parts, but dealing with Partee racing was a very simple process, and the guys (including the main man) were also replying over the weekends. Shipping was quick through UPS although the importation process on this side is very clunky but the part did arrive quickly and was efficiently packaged. I may of also brought something else from them, to save on the shipping cost, but you will have to be a subscriber to see what that is in an upcoming video.
