Plato wrote of a great island civilization that sank beneath the sea, and the date he gave falls almost exactly when the last ice age ended. In 1705 a tooth weighing almost five pounds turned up in New York and was sent to London as the tooth of a giant. In Turkey, hunters raised huge carved stone pillars six thousand years before Stonehenge. Cultures on every inhabited continent tell the story of a great flood. In Siberia, a mammoth was dug out of the frozen ground with grass still between its teeth. Tonight we take the stories one at a time, and check each one against the evidence.
Tonight: Atlantis and the date Plato gave, the giants in the earth, the temple built before farming, the flood every culture remembers, the book that said the Earth flips over, the comet that ended the Ice Age, whether we were the first, the mammoth frozen with food in its mouth, the man who said a flood carved a state, why we are still in an ice age, the ice over New York, the giants that vanished, the footprints that should not be there, and when the ice comes back.
Real science, told slowly. Some of the stories are true, some are not, and some nobody knows yet, and each is told as exactly that. Settle in, and if you are here to sleep, sleep.
A soft 432 Hz ambient tone plays beneath the narration. Designed for sleep, study, focus and calm.
If you are listening tonight, tell me in the comments where in the world you are.
