Vail Ski Resort Opening Day 2024-2025 11/15/2024

It's a gorgeous sunny day at Vail Ski Resort on their opening day of the 2024-2025 season. Anticipation builds at the bottom of Gondola One in Vail Village for the first chair as the overnighters rustle out of their sleeping bags in the early dawn hours. There's plenty of camaraderie as the pastries and pancakes are being served up. Finally, it's time to drop the ropes and and load the gondola. Off we go to Mid-Vail and the upper mountain for a great morning of turns. It's lap after lap until we've had our fill. Sunshine, snow, and mountain vistas make for a memorable opening day!
