LIRR NEW DM30AC's / ELECTRIC MODE OPERATION / ORIGINAL HORN!!

Its the new millennium, Jan. 2000 and I'm at Mineola for a PM Rush. Here we see a DM30AC set operating in Electric Mode which was common back then. The train is being powered by third rail, just like all the M1/ M3's that pass. Check out the Original Horn and that SIEMENS RADIAL AC Traction motor whine from the rear engine.
