Video Description
Two Latter-day Saints challenge the historic Christian doctrine of God, arguing that the Trinity is unbiblical, illogical—and even unethical.
Their objection is simple: If God knows that a person will freely reject Him and face judgment, why would God create that person at all?
But when the same moral standard is applied to LDS teachings about premortal existence, Judas, free will, and outer darkness, the argument begins to turn against their own theology.
Does saying that human spirits are uncreated really solve the problem? If God already knew Judas would betray Christ, why permit him to enter mortality—especially when Jesus said it would have been better for him not to have been born? And if outer darkness is eternal, conscious, and miserable, has Mormon theology actually escaped the dilemma it raised against Christianity?
This respectful but intense discussion examines:
The Trinity and the LDS Godhead
Creation from nothing versus eternal matter
Whether human spirits are created
Divine foreknowledge and free will
Judas and the meaning of “better not to have been born”
Eternal judgment and outer darkness
Whether the LDS objection ultimately backfires
The real issue is not merely whether the Trinity is difficult to understand. The deeper question is whether Joseph Smith had divine authority to redefine God, creation, and the identity of Jesus Christ.
Watch carefully and decide: Did the argument against the Trinity actually expose a deeper problem within LDS theology?
