How is AI reshaping cardiovascular medicine, and who should lead it? In this episode, Dr. Dominique J. Monlezun, Mayo Clinic's inaugural AI Associate Program Director in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, covers the leading trends and uses of AI in cardiology. He looks at each through three lenses: science, economics, and ethics.
This video is part of graduate medical education's first comprehensive, end-to-end AI curriculum, from medical students to trainees to attending physicians. The curriculum prepares physicians to lead the responsible implementation and governance of health AI. The focus is on making care safer, more affordable, and more equitable, especially for low- and middle-income countries and the communities that need it most.
