The Orchestra of Star Fox 64

A deep dive into the romplers, samplers, and synthesizers that comprise the virtual orchestra of Star Fox 64. These are the instruments that were sampled to create the soundbanks for the game, as well as other golden era N64 titles. We go over some key sounds from these instruments in various examples, human aural transcriptions of some of my favorite tracks from the game, and put these sounds to work in a new original composition.
