Who wouldn’t need? I take a long overdue walk up to the arch Through the door now and the dam of memory pour Pink marble elephants march in the porch And over me the grandfather clock reminds me of The wasting love I get for free Outside the garden patch starts to rot And over me the grandfather clock reminds me of The wasting love I get for free Here riddled with stillness is the rocking horse And over me the grandfather clock reminds me of The wasting love I get for free This fine house surrounds me This grand house is gathering dust #slate#thegrandfatherclock#cardiff
