See kalshi.com/regulatory for more information NFL Week 2 of the 2026 season is loaded with major matchups as teams look to either build on strong Week 1 performances or avoid an early 0-2 start. The schedule features Josh Allen vs. Jared Goff, an NFC North showdown between the Vikings and Bears, the Eagles traveling to Tennessee, and Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs hosting the Colts on Sunday Night Football. Here is a complete preview of every game in NFL Week 2. Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills — Thursday Night Football The week begins with one of the biggest matchups on the entire schedule. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills host Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions in a game featuring two teams with Super Bowl aspirations. Allen was outstanding in Buffalo's Week 1 win over Houston, while Detroit survived an overtime battle against New Orleans behind a huge performance from Jahmyr Gibbs. The Bills offense against the Lions defense will be one of the biggest matchups to watch. Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tennessee Titans The defending NFC contenders travel to Tennessee for an important early-season matchup. The Eagles escaped Week 1 with a close win over Washington, while the Titans will be looking to bounce back after losing their opener to the Jets. Tennessee needs to protect its home field against one of the league's most talented teams. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots The Steelers opened the season with a victory over Atlanta, while New England enters Week 2 after losing a close game against Seattle. This matchup could be a major test for both teams as Pittsburgh tries to start 2-0 and the Patriots attempt to avoid an early losing streak. Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears This could be one of the most exciting games of Week 2. The Chicago Bears scored 59 points against Carolina in Week 1, with Caleb Williams accounting for four touchdowns. Minnesota also made a major statement by defeating Green Bay 39-22. Now the Vikings and Bears meet in a huge NFC North showdown between two teams entering Week 2 with momentum. Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons Both teams enter this game needing a response. Carolina allowed 59 points in its Week 1 loss to Chicago, while Atlanta lost to Pittsburgh. The Panthers need to find answers defensively, while the Falcons need more consistency offensively. This is an important game for two teams trying to avoid an 0-2 start. Green Bay Packers vs. New York Jets The Packers travel to New York after a disappointing Week 1 loss to Minnesota. The Jets, meanwhile, opened their season with a road victory over Tennessee. Green Bay needs to bounce back quickly, while the Jets have an opportunity to build early momentum. The biggest storyline will be whether the Packers can fix the issues that led to their 39-22 loss against the Vikings. New Orleans Saints vs. Baltimore Ravens The Ravens enter Week 2 after an explosive 41-23 victory over Indianapolis, while New Orleans nearly pulled off an incredible comeback against Detroit. Baltimore's offense was dominant in Week 1, with Derrick Henry scoring three touchdowns. The Saints showed plenty of fight against the Lions, but now they face another difficult challenge against one of the AFC's most dangerous teams. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans The Bengals opened the season with a win over Tampa Bay, while Houston suffered a difficult loss against Buffalo despite putting up 31 points. This game could feature two explosive offenses. Cincinnati wants to continue its strong start, while Houston desperately needs to avoid falling to 0-2 after losing a close game to Josh Allen and the Bills. Cleveland Browns vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Browns were dominated by Jacksonville in Week 1, while Tampa Bay lost a competitive game against Cincinnati. Both teams need this one. Cleveland must find more offensive production after scoring only 10 points against the Jaguars. Tampa Bay will try to turn its Week 1 performance into a victory and avoid starting the season 0-2.
