Psalms 1 1 Hebrew אשרי האיש אשר לא הלך בעצת רשעים ובדרך חטאים לא עמד ובמושב לצים לא ישב׃ Geneva Bible Blessed is the man that doth not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. 2 Hebrew כי אם בתורת יהוה חפצו ובתורתו יהגה יומם ולילה׃ Geneva Bible But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 Hebrew והיה כעץ שתול על פלגי מים אשר פריו יתן בעתו ועלהו לא יבול וכל אשר יעשה יצליח׃ Geneva Bible For he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, that will bring forth her fruits in due season: whose leaf shall not fade: so whatsoever he shall do, shall prosper. 4 Hebrew לא כן הרשעים כי אם כמץ אשר תדפנו רוח׃ Geneva Bible The wicked are not so, but as the chaff, which the wind driveth away. 5 Hebrew על כן לא יקמו רשעים במשפט וחטאים בעדת צדיקים׃ Geneva Bible Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 Hebrew כי יודע יהוה דרך צדיקים ודרך רשעים תאבד׃ Geneva Bible For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.
