This climb pushed me beyond my limits and redefined what I thought I was capable of. I am at a loss for words after experiencing the trail that my hike buddy Kyle and I conquered. This was my toughest hike so far, my first major climb rated Level 5 out of 9, and it has quickly become my favorite. The long and demanding trail offered countless scenic views while pushing me to both my physical and mental limits. Prior to the hike, I had seen photos of the railings and stairs, which gave me the impression that it would be easier than expected, but the reality proved otherwise. This journey brought us to one of Benguet’s most iconic peaks, Mt. Kabunian, often referred to as the Home of Kabunian or the Sky God. Known for its steep ascents, scenic ridges, and cultural significance, it offers an unforgettable hiking experience. Mountain or Location: Mt.
