Thinly sliced potatoes then melt 1/2 stick of butter and sauté onions, add seasoning then add flour, stirring until smooth then add milk whisking until smooth and creamy then add cheese. Butter a casserole dish then add one layer of potatoes ham, repeat layers, poor cheese sauce over the top making sure the sauce is incorporated throughout the dish top with grated cheese and bake covered for 30 minutes then remove fall and bake an additional 20 to 30 minutes until potatoes are done.
