The Organisers are joined by Kristoffer Hatland, a Cloud Security Leader & Architect specialising in Azure networking, cloud architecture, and automation. Kristoffer brings his expertise in cloud infrastructure, network security, and engineering automation to this session, which is called: CloudNetDraw – Automated Azure Network Diagrams
As anyone working with Azure networking knows, architecture diagrams and the actual implementation are not always perfectly aligned. Keeping documentation accurate and up to date becomes increasingly challenging as environments grow in size and complexity.
In this session, Kristoffer will introduce CloudNetDraw, a tool he developed to automatically generate draw.io diagrams based on data collected directly from Azure APIs. He will explain how the solution works, why he built it, and how it can help organisations gain greater visibility into their Azure networking environments.
You'll gain insight into the challenges of maintaining network documentation at scale and see how automation can simplify the process by producing diagrams that reflect the real state of your Azure infrastructure. Kristoffer will also share practical use cases, lessons learned, and examples of where CloudNetDraw has helped bridge the gap between documented architecture and deployed reality.
If you're looking for a practical approach to improving Azure network visibility and reducing the effort required to maintain documentation, this session will provide valuable ideas and real-world experience that you can take back to your own environment.
