Hyde Park feels surprisingly familiar: two peaceful lakes, shady trees, ducks, birds, people exercising and a very British name right in the middle of Western Australia. The ducks even came over to say hello, though I suspect their father wasn't entirely convinced I was trustworthy. 😄 It was only a short walk, but sometimes that's all you need. A little wandering, some birds, a few peaceful moments… and, naturally, an Australian bin chicken (ibis) standing proudly on top of a rubbish bin. A small piece of calm in the middle of Perth.
